Mid-August is peak season for Frutura fruit growers who have lovingly dedicated themselves to pears. This is the time when they hand-pick the fruits of their labour. Dutifully helped by their “assistants”: climate, healthy soils and beneficial insects, the farmers can now send their fresh fruit to Frutura’s distribution centre in Hartl bei Kaindorf for delivery to SPAR supermarkets throughout Austria.
