General conditions of participation in sweepstakes

 

General conditions of participation

The organizer of the sweepstakes is Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH, Fruturastraße 1, A-8224 Hartl, Austria.

Participation in the sweepstake implies acceptance of the conditions of participation. By participating in the competition, the participant accepts these conditions of participation. Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition if they violate these conditions of participation.

Participants who use unauthorized aids or otherwise attempt to gain an advantage through manipulation will be excluded from participation. Participants who provide false personal information will also be excluded.

Only natural persons of full age with a permanent residence in the respective country of the event (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) are entitled to participate. Employees of Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH and their relatives are excluded from participation in the competition.

Participation in the competition is free of charge and there is no obligation to purchase.

Only the prizes mentioned in the respective competition will be drawn. Furthermore, costs that may arise in connection with the fulfillment by the winner and are not expressly stated as included in the respective prize (e.g. travel to an event) are not included and have to be paid by the winner.

Participation in the sweepstakes requires the completion of the entry form (in written form or online). The entry form is only valid if it is completed in full and, in particular, if surname, first name, and e-mail address or address are provided. Each person can only participate once per competition and can only win one prize.

The winner will receive a notification e-mail or a notification letter, on the e-mail address or address data submitted by him. If the winner does not respond within 2 weeks after sending the notification, the claim to the prize expires. The participant is responsible for the correctness of the e-mail address or address provided. The announcement of the winner is made without guarantee. The prize is excluded from exchange. The prize is not transferable to third parties. Cash payment of the prize is excluded.

The participation period can be taken from the participation form.

Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH reserves the right to terminate the sweepstake at any time without prior notice if proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical, organizational or legal reasons.

Legal recourse is excluded.

Should individual regulations of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the legal validity of the remaining regulations. They shall be replaced by an appropriate regulation that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision.

 

Data privacy for sweepstake participation

To participate in the sweepstakes, personal data must be provided. The participant explicitly agrees that the data provided by him/her may be collected and processed for the purpose of carrying out and processing the prize draw.

The participant agrees that he/she may receive messages from Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH in connection with the sweepstake at the e-mail address or address he/she has provided.

The participant agrees that his/her disclosed personal data may be transmitted to Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH for marketing & information purposes, Austria, and used by it until the expiry of the deletion period specified in the conditions of participation.

A revocation of the disclosed data is possible at any time under the e-mail address datenschutz@frutura.com or by mail to the address Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH, Fruturastraße 1, A-8224 Hartl, Austria. In case of revocation, the participant will be excluded from the sweepstake.

The data provided by the participant in the course of the sweepstake (age, name, address, etc.) will be stored and processed by Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH and its data processors exclusively for the purpose of conducting the sweepstake and for marketing and information purposes (Facebook posting, posting on the website www.frutura.com). Furthermore, the disclosed personal data will not be disclosed to third parties. The participant’s personal data will be irrevocably deleted within one year after the end of the sweepstake.

Social media in particular

Among all participants who comment on the respective sweepstakes and link a person, only the specified prize in the sweepstakes posting will be raffled.

Natural persons aged 16 and older with a permanent residence in the respective country of the event (e.g. Austria) are entitled to participate.

The prize is not redeemable for cash.

The raffle is not connected to Facebook and will be handled by Frutura.

Participation is only available during the period as stated in the respective posting.

The winner will be randomly selected and notified within the next 3 business days. The winner must then contact us by private message within five business days to confirm the win, otherwise a new winner will be selected.

The prize will be sent to the winner after the delivery address has been announced.

Employees, their families and contributors to the Frutura sweepstakes are excluded from participation.

The legal process is excluded.
