From a pear drying plant to a diversified, international producer and marketer of fruits and vegetables.

Our fast-moving, digitalizing world is becoming ever more vulnerable. Lasting responsibility and new solutions that ensure that we can provide healthy food for our descendants are urgently needed.

1999

Founding of the company “Dörrobstland Vertriebs GesmbH”, still the tree's strong trunk today.

2002

Founding of the subsidiary "Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH"

2004

Erection of a new company building in Hartl bei Kaindorf, and only two years later ...

2006

Establishment of KB-Logistik GmbH in Hartl bei Kaindorf.

2010

Construction of a unique banana ripening facility, again in Hartl bei Kaindorf.

2011

Launch of the "Steiermark Genuss Apfel"

2012

Establishment of the "Apfel, Obst & Gemüse Akademie - AOGA" (Apple, Fruit and Vegetable Academy), holding of the first courses in 2013.

2014

Cultivation of the first in-house herbs within the scope of "Frutura Gartenbau GmbH".

2016

Commencement of construction of Frutura Thermal-Gemüsewelt, cultivation of organic vegetables to begin with, followed shortly after by conventionally grown tomatoes and peppers.

2017

Ripening of mangos and avocados in Hartl.

2019

Completion of Frutura Thermal-Gemüsewelt.

2020

the next step: Frutura in both Hartl and Upper Austria from now on has a fresh fruit and vegetable distribution hub serving the whole of Austria.
