Mid-August is peak season for Frutura fruit growers who have lovingly dedicated themselves to pears. This is the time when they hand-pick the fruits of their labour. Dutifully helped by their “assistants”: climate, healthy soils and beneficial insects, the farmers can now send their fresh fruit to Frutura’s distribution centre in Hartl bei Kaindorf for delivery to 1800 SPAR supermarkets throughout Austria.
The Steiermark Genuss Pear is a young Frutura family member. A tip for you as customer: grab us while stocks last!
We are flexible: if you like firm and crunchy flesh best, eat us right away. Or, keep us at room temperature for a few days until we are really ripe with our special aroma and tender melting flesh. Stored in a refrigerator we stay crunchy for a longer time.
The bottom line: we are a delicious honest Styrian pleasure experience.
