Bees create delicious honey. But that’s by no means all they do –
many people don’t know just how important bees are for our society. They also contribute enormously to our ecosystem as pollinating insects.

 

Pollination of agricultural plants by bees is immensely important for us. Their global economic benefit amounts to around 265 billion Euro (Data from 2015). Information that does not often find its way into the public consciousness.

 

Bees are an evolutionary miracle and indispensable for humans and animals. The bee is Austria’s most important pollinator of flowering plants.

 

Everyone can do something to protect bees. We are launching the first international environmental project FROM society FOR society!
